Our new organ will be dedicated on September 28 in the 10:30 service. After the service, a luncheon will be served, following which we will have a "mini-concert" featuring Dan Miller on the organ. The many unique features of the organ will be highlighted. Dan Miller is a professional organist and composer who works with Rodgers Organs, the builder of our new instrument. For more information about Dan Miller, see his website at www.DanMillerMusic.com.
A new Adult Information Class begins September 23rd and will meet from 7:00-9:00 pm. The Adult Information Class is a 14-lesson class on the basic teachings of Christianity. Using the Bible, Luther's Small Catechism, and the Lutheran Service Book, we will explore what the Bible says and how Lutherans confess the eternal teachings of God's Holy Word. There is no charge for the class. All materials are provided for free. There is no obligation to join Messiah Lutheran Church at the end of the class. For inquirers, this is an opportunity for you to learn and have your questions answered. For church members, this is an opportunity to invite your friends who are currently connected to a church or who do not know Jesus. Please call the church office to register (360-659-4112) so that we can be assured we have sufficient materials available.
